Endurance”, these are the hallmarks of Ameenji Rubber Limited since the day it was incorporated in September 2006 (prior to which the business was undertaken under the name BJ Ameenji International a proprietorship firm) until today, when it has transformed itself into the foremost rubber product manufacturer of its segment having nearly three decades of manufacturing experience in a variety of rubber products such as Elastomeric Bridge Bearings, POT-PTFE Bearings, Spherical Bearings, Strip Seal Expansion Joints, Compression Seal Expansion Joints & Slab Seal Expansion joints, Compression Seal Expansion Joint, Composite Grooved Rubber Sole Plate, UIC Rubber Vestibule for Railway, and Rubberized level crossings for roads and railways.

We are also leading manufacturers of products such as various types of Rubber Sheets, extrusion and moulded products, Gym Mats and Rolls, Stable/Animal Mats, Rubber Beadings. Since its inception, Ameenji Rubber has been driven by excellence, passion, and integrity, transforming from a modest 1,500 sq. ft. facility into a state of the art 8,064 sq mtr factory out of which 1,899 sq mtr is reserved for a Green Belt buffer zone in Hyderabad, processing over 38 tonnes of rubber daily. With advanced machinery, in-house testing and an NABL Accredited Lab, R&D, quality control, and a cutting edge design department, Ameenji is ready to tackle
any and every technical, engineering and commercial challenge.

In 2016, we were the first company in South India empanelled under the Ministry of Road and Transport (MORTH) for elastomeric bearings, POT PTFE Bearings and Expansion Joints. Ameenji supports major infrastructure projects across India, serving esteemed clients like Larsen and Toubro, Tata Projects, and Metro Rail Corporations, by delivering innovative, tailored solutions to the most demanding technical challenges.

Mufaddal Najmuddin Deesawala

Chairman and MD

Mr. Mufaddal Deesawala, fondly referred to as Mr. Ameenji in his trade circles, the Managing Director of Ameenji Rubber, is a visionary with sharp business acumen. With his sheer dedication and perseverance he has made Ameenji what it is today: an innovative and pioneering organisation committed to quality and customer satisfaction. The originality and enterprising spirit of Ameenji Rubber is a reflection of Mr. Mufaddal’s quest for creating excellent products which benefit the society as a whole.

Mr. Mufaddal Najmuddin Deesawala lost his father at the age of 16, and he had joined his family business of selling Industrial hardware in Hyderabad. At 25, he started his own enterprise and over a career spanning 3 decades or so, Mr. Ameenji has built an institution which dreams, builds and executes world class products. Mr.Ameenji is regularly consulted by government departments such as Indian Railways in developing new specifications for new products which the departments wish to introduce. Mr. Ameenji is also involved in large scale philanthropy and regularly contributes to social initiatives of the Dawoodi Bohra community for welfare of its own community members and members of other communities as well.

Sakina Mufaddal Deesawala

Whole time Director

Mrs. Sakina Mufaddal Deesawala formally joined the organisation in 2008 and has been the backbone of this company ever since. Born and brought up in Chennai, Mrs. Deesawala has been instrumental in the growth of Ameenji, by providing strategic advice from time to time and her people-led initiatives at Ameenji have helped shape the culture of the organisation. Mrs. Deesawala is a fitness enthusiast and regularly participates in marathons.

Fatema Mufaddal Deesawala

Director

Ms. Fatema Deesawala born in 1999, is a graduate in liberal arts from Symbiosis university, Pune and did her schooling from the renowned Nasr School in Hyderabad. Ms. Fatema was also a national level pistol shooter having won medals at the national stage and having represented India internationally as well. She joined the board at Ameenji in 2020 and has ever since been an integral part of the company. Ms. Fatema has worked in retail sales, accounts and finance at Ameenji and currently oversees day to day operations of the company and undertakes new ventures at the company as well.

Zahra Mufaddal Deesawala

Director

Ms. Zahra Mufaddal Deesawala, born in 2003 has done her schooling from Nasr School in Hyderabad and joined the board at Ameenji in 2023. She currently oversees sales and marketing of the company. Ms. Zahra is an international level skeet shooter representing India and is aiming to represent the country in the 2028 olympic games.

RECENT ACHIEVEMENTS

Participated in the 15th Asian Shooting Championship Changwon, Korea Skeet Women Team Gold.
Won silver medal in the team event at the International junior shotgun shooting championships in Finland.
Won bronze medal in the mixed team event at the Junior World Championship Croatia 2022.
Won silver medal in the team event at Junior Asian Shooting Championships 2023.
Ranked 4th at the National Games and won a silver in mixed team.
Won the individual gold and silver medal at the National shooting Championships in Delhi

Ameenji Rubber History

Mr. Ameenji started his first enterprise in a 1000 sqft area, which was majorly into manufacturing and trading of various rubber components. In the year 2000, our MD and CEO took the bold step of increasing production capacity and shifted to a 2500 sq ft plant where various rubber products were processed, moulded and extruded. In 2005, with growing demand for its products, the plant was shifted to a 15,000 sq ft area in Nacharam Industrial District. Growth till 2005 took place under this enterprise, but in order to meet the growing vision of our MD, a new company named Ameenji Rubber Private Limited was incorporated and all business activities started taking place under the banner of Ameenji Rubber Private Limited. With the formation of the new company, rubber sheet production and railway UIC Vestibules R&D was started and Ameenji Rubber was empanelled in approved suppliers list of Ministry of Road Transport and Highways for supply and manufacture of elastomeric bridge bearings.

The 15,000 sq ft facility at Nacharam was expanded to 25,000 sq ft and in order to bolster its product offerings, Ameenji Rubber Private Limited acquired Cemcon Rubber Private Limited, a Delhi based company in 2017 and thus the product portfolio of the company was expanded to various designs of Grooved Rubber Sole Plates (Sleeper rail pads). In 2019-20, Ameenji Rubber Private Limited made history when it bagged the single largest order from Railways for sleeper rail pads, amounting to INR 110 Crores. In 2021, Ameenji Rubber was also awarded NABL ISO/IEC 17025-2017 accreditation for its in house QC laboratory. The only Indian Rubber company at the time to have this accreditation in the whole of South East Asia. In 2021-22, Ameenji Rubber Private Limited merged with Cemcon Rubber Private Limited and moved to a brand new facility built over 1,07,240.8 sq ft of land with 70,850 sq ft of built up shed area and with state of the art machinery for rubber processing, compounding, moulding and extrusion of rubber products in the portfolio of Ameenji Rubber Private Limited. The unit of Nacharam was merged with the unit of kucharam thus creating a total mixing capacity of over 60 tonnes per day.
