The Surat Metro Rail Project is a transformative public transport initiative that will redefine mobility within Surat, a major industrial and commercial hub of Gujarat. The system comprises two corridors spanning 40.35 km with 38 stations, connecting key residential, industrial, and business zones.

Commenced in January 2021, the project is being implemented by GMRC to support sustainable urban growth and provide a fast, eco-friendly mode of mass transit for millions of residents.
